Logline On the night before a seaside amusement park is demolished, an older watchman follows his daughter’s remembered order through the rides, turning off each light until one final bulb forces a choice. Tone and visual rule A quiet coastal-night drama: cool moonlight against dying warm carnival light. The camera follows or waits for the watchman so that his movement carries the story. The key, carousel bulb and Ferris wheel are stateful visual anchors. Story movement 1. A brass key falls toward a drain: the past has already begun to leave. 2. The watchman enters the closed park and begins the final rounds. 3. The carousel goes dark except for one stubborn bulb; he removes it himself. 4. The Ferris wheel dies from the top down after his deliberate action. 5. At the boardwalk, the remaining memory resolves into a quiet departure. First-shot plan Start state: weathered fingers hold a small brass key above a visible wet drain grate. One visible action: the fingers open and the key falls. End state: the key has not yet struck the grate. Camera: locked extreme close-up; preserve hand, key and grate in one readable frame. Sound: air and restrained metal presence; no dialogue or score in the shot. Review: verify key state, visible grate, no reference flash, usable incoming/outgoing boundary, and any affected later key shots.
